Φέτα Σαγανάκι | Meze (Serves 4)
Feta Saganaki
Sweet and crispy on the outside, tangy and creamy on the inside, this meze is a total crowd pleaser. I like to serve it with crudites or big chunks of piping hot peasant bread.
INGREDIENTS:
Slice of feta (½ thick)
1 egg
Organic flour
2 tspn Greek honey
½ cup GEVOO
Sesame seeds (black or white)
METHOD:
Dip your feta in the flour so it is coated well all-over
Mix in your beaten egg with a pinch of black pepper
Dip feta back in flour
Heat your olive oil in a large pan over high fire
Add your feta to the sizzling olive oil and cook about 2 minutes on each side until feta becomes golden brown
Remove from pan and drizzle with honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
